Unreliable Service Across the Board

Why is the service constantly and consistently out? None of the customer service people can give a valid reason for the outages and it’s honestly getting to the point where I’m personally gathering folks for a class action. You all are failing your consumers miserably and NONE of you directly address the issue at hand: THE CONSTANT OUTAGES WITH NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE FROM ANYONE AT COX. You have customers that WFH and have no physical location to go into. I don’t need anyone to empathize or sympathize, I need concrete ANSWERS and you all are saying NO ONE at COX knows anything? What am I missing? Are you all working? I’ve seen ZERO COX techs or trucks in my immediate service area all day and I’ve checked. What is the issue and if no one can tell me then I’d like to be helped to cancel services today so I can switch to AT&T.

I’ve already talked to several customer service people today. I need to speak to a tech or legal. None of the customer service employees give any reliable information nor answers. I want to speak or be directed to whom can tell me why the network has been down all day and why the repair time keeps getting pushed back if techs are “working” on it. Nobody has been out here all day. I need to speak to legal or an actual tech that works in the field or via computer. The service across the board is horrible and I’m sick of it

Okay, so my apartment complex only offers Cox. A few months ago, my internet would cut out, and my router light would be red. I’d unplug it and wait a bit, and it would come back on, but it would do that at least once a day, sometimes two or three times. The router was old, so I upgraded, and that helped for maybe a week or two, but then the same issue came up. I moved the router to my living room in case the issue was with the port, but the same thing is happening. I’ve contacted cox, they reset the brand new router, ran tests, the equipment is fine. It’s really frustrating to not have reliable service and to constantly have to unplug the router and reconnect devices. It sounds like this is a chronic problem for lots of people. Has anyone found a solution?

Hi, Darja. I'm really sorry for the issues with your internet service. This is beyond what we could help you fix here. Please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full name, complete street address, the details of your concern and a link to this post. We will be glad to help.

If you need to talk to a tech or legal, you are in the wrong place. This forum is for users and moderators, who are part of the Social Media team. I don't think anyone here will be able to help you with trending data. Try Reddit or DSLReports.
