Typical I have to monitor their network but they give no work order or tracking information

So I post here yet again. Spent 15 minutes on chat with two responses. Think I'll post here and then turn it into the FCC. So, why can't I get a request number, ticket number when I turn in a problem? Here's the problem.

Also, during peak hours it's 27 to 29 SNR. anything under 35 SNR i have issues.

SNR of 31 or less is noisy. Do you have a cable amplifier hooked up inside the home? If so, I would try removing it, because they add noise. Also, if you have multiple cable connections in the home, verify that all of them are snug, and nothing is loose. If you have connections that aren't being used, I would get them disconnected from the feed. The fewer splitters, the better the signal levels, and less of a chance of getting ingress or noise in the lines.

I would love to know why your tech support always wants to sell me a modem rather than listen to the problem I'm having, with a resolution, IP address of the person/node feeding back into the system,

If your connection works at all they consider it acceptable is what I’ve learned. You can provide proof, make multiple FCC complaints, and Techs can see and document problems, but nothing is actually ever resolved.
