Frankly, for what Cox is charging us it's inexcusable that they can't get their act together. Now I'm aware that forum moderators are not responsible for how their employer is gouging its customers but if we are going to be enlisted to assist paid tech support in ferreting out something that, for what we are being charged (and the rates are about to go up AGAIN!), our efforts and aggravation should be reimbursed.
