WPS Button Issue.

So I have the homelife stuff and I want to set it up, except when I hold down the button on my modem to get it to do WPS it doesn't respond. It reminds white lit. If I press it after unhooking it and...

A WPS feature shouldn't be online or in an app.  This would defeat the purpose of WPS.  It should be a physical button accessible to only people standing in front of the router.

WPS is not just a PIN.  There are lots of other methods for a client to engage a WPS time period.

If your WPS doesn't work...it doesn't work.  Exchange the router.  Don't cost nothing.

I didn't say it was only a pin, but extra things are being added to this conversation so I assume the information from others misinterpreted what I was asking for. As for that it doesn't seem to have the function you're mentioning, but it's also confusing when someone says that it does have WPS settings. This just further makes me assume some people contributing to this conversation also have no idea what this ** looks like on the inside(gateway) and assuming what this thing does or doesn't have, Real Confusing.

    Absolutely correct.  I know nothing about Panoramic, Homelife or any Cox app.

    WPS is basically an alternative to entering an SSID and key.  My contribution strayed because I thought you could manually connect instead.

    I read the article to pair a camera:
    - Homelife Mobile App
    - Add Devices
    - Select Cameras
    - Follow Instructions to Power & Pair
    - WPS Button

    Did you manually enter the camera(s) in the Homelife App?

    "I'm suppose to get a blue light in response, correct?"

    I read the details of the Technicolor CGM4141:
    - Gateway Light:  WPS
    - Color:  Flashing Blue
    - Status:  WPS Mode

    Yes...after pressing WPS, the indicator should have flashed blue.  Again, I know nothing, but Crystal may have cryptically eluded to...perhaps...you need to enable WPS within the Panoramic Wifi App.  This would be a good security feature because you could disable WPS after using it.  (Jeesh...how many apps does a Cox subscriber need?)
