Why so many outages?

Why so many outages? I've had at least 2 sizable outages per month for the last 3 months along with lots of little one.  Cox internet is starting to suck.  What is causing so many outages?

I do not need someone to look into my account personally. This is not about my acct. Any outage I experience always is accompanied with an email from Cox acknowledging there is an outage in the area.  Why is Cox having so many outages?
