Random disconnects for past 2-3 weeks

I've been with Cox for over 20 years and have never experienced the awful internet service I've been having for the past 2 to 3 weeks. For the most part, the speed seems to be fine, fairly close to what its supposed to be most of the time. Its the frequent disconnecting that driving me crazy!!! I work in IT and cannot have a connection that goes out every 30 seconds on and off throughout the day. I cant even stay connected to my work, its extremely frustrating. I just need to know if this is ever going to get fixed? I cannot keep missing work due to me crappy internet connection.

    I’ve been having the same issues for 3 weeks. Can’t get work done.

    Sad to say that I join in your misery as a person who works from home, missing out or late to online meetings because Cox internet connection issues persist without any improvement. Don't even bother with service calls since they're in it for your money and are ridiculously overpriced.

    Sorry, but the issues we are having are with node congestion. The connection is going to fluctuate depending on how many customers are online at any given time. Our network teams are working to see what can be done to balance loads in over-saturated areas, but we would not be able to provide you with an estimated restoral time at this point.
