Cox needs to make up for lost revenue from TV/phone... so data caps!

I just had the same problem.

We went over the 1024 GB limit by 60+ GBs and were charged an extra $20 for our already expensive internet plan compared to Spectrum / Time Warner Cable.

Spectrum / TWC has no data caps and charge less than half of what we pay. :(

I never would have moved to this different part of my city if I had realized I was leaving the TWC / Spectrum coverage area.

1024 GB per month is nothing if you have an average household with several people and tons of internet connected devices, tablets, computers, HDTVs, etc.

Netflix uses 3GB per hour per device. Amazon Prime Video uses over 6GB per hour for the "Best" video stream.
