New Motorola 8702 Docsis 3.1
Motorola has their MG8702 Modem/Router combo, which is the newer version of their 7700 that Cox already supports. How often does Cox add modems to the support list? I would like to switch to the 8702.

I wouldn't advise a combo unit get separate modem and router
- Modems will be added to this list www.cox.com/.../cox-certified-cable-modems.html as they are approved to be used on our network. From what I can tell, that one has only been approved to be used on Xfinity/Comcast as of now. - Brian
