Internet connection off & on

My internet connection continuously goes in and out. Even on my devices that are hardwired. I have done the unplug and plug back in, reset the modem/router. What could it be and how do I make it stop? It makes Zoom work meetings drop calls and it’s not acceptable.

What model modem/router do you have? Does the light(s) change on either when the problem happens? How does the coax get from the street/pole to the room the modem is in? Any splitters/amp/filter?

I have the Arris Surfboard S33. None of the lights change color when the problem occurs. The coax cable goes directly from the wall to the modem/router. No splitters. I have been at this residence for 1 year. Problems just started last week.

Does the problem happen if you connect a PC direct to the S33? Remember to power cycle each time you change what the ethernet from the modem is plugged into.

Also, I didn't mean if there was anything in that room, but if you had splitters/amps/filters somewhere in the house or outside the house. Like how many outlets do you have in your house? If more then 1, there should be a splitter connecting the two.

Next, post your signal levels from 192.168.100.1 as seen here. You can also post the event logs from around the time of the issue but be sure to edit out the HFC MAC address.

Last, what modem router do you have?
