Getting LAG in COD MW and in Discord simultaneously.

This has been an issue for a while, I seem to think that it's my internet, I recently bought a new Router The Netgear Nighthawk AC2100. I have a cox modem. Here are the modem levels, Here is the problem, I am getting really bad lag in my game (Modern Warfare) I know it isn't the router because it is brand new, Also when I lag in game I check my discord and i am on a one bar, I haven't had any issues for a while, and I have tried resetting the modem and router, factory resetting it etc. Nothing Works, is this COX or am I doing something wrong.

    I checked from this end and so far there's no indication of a problem with the connection between us and the modem. Can you try testing wtihout the router and see if there is any improvement? If you could also get some trace routes while connected directly to the modem we can see if any problem is indicated there.

      Idk what to do anymore, I tried port forwarding, resetting the router and modem, I uninstalled the game, I tried everything.

      And it happens with every game i play.

        @Zurq, I pinged your modem several times over the last few minutes and I am detecting some intermittent packet loss (around 2%). It is extremely intermittent when it does take place, and I recommend sending out a service technician to investigate further. Can you please email us at cox.help@cox.com? -Kevin M.
