What email account is sending you the email? Does it have a cox.com domain name? If it doesn't, then it's probably not a corporate Cox email account. If it does, you should be able to reply to that sender, unless it's an unmonitored account. Contact Cox at cox.help@cox.com and ask them for clarification. That's the Cox social media account. They generally reply quickly, but there doesn't appear to be anybody working at the moment or they probably would have replied to your post.
Just curious... how have you been a member of this forum for 11 years and not know how to contact Cox?
