Email read and delivery receipts - how do I block these?

Is there a way to block email read and delivery receipts? Delivery of email to Cox server is sending a deliver/read receipt even if I am logged out of email on all devices and have not read/seen the email. I have disabled read and delivery request responses on PC and phone is off, but the delivery/read receipts are still sent even if email has not been received on a device and I am not logged into email. How can I block these delivery and read receipts from being sent by the cox server?

  • Hello, You can disable read receipt requests by accessing your email account through webmail, going to settings, then to inbox, then removing the checkbox from the Show request for read receipts option. -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.
