Cox wifi acting weird

First of all i can only connect to certain sites and most wont. Then viewing the wifi section on the app is blank then suddenly it logged me out and i cannot log back in saying technical difficulties. Can someone explain what the problem is

    Same here in yukon ok.  This did the same a couple days ago. And fixed itself in a few hours.  Some sites work others no dns.  Whereas if you use a phone provider the same sites work.  Very frustating

    Yes same here, Oceanside CA. TV is fine, PC and phone not so much. So annoying. My son is on college deadlines tonight.

    We received a letter about updating our modem. We purchase our own modem which Cox does not like because they cannot charge us for it. It's fairly new. It's strange because my Alexa echo pops aren't working, neither is YouTube on my fire stick. But other apps on the fire Stick work. And when I use my cell phone with T-Mobile everything works perfectly. So it's just Cox. And all of our fire stick apps have been going in and out. So frustrating. I get to visit my home two days a week from my job, and this is what I come home to. I have AT&T at work, and it never goes out, but it's such a frustrating process to change your Cox email address that you've had for 20 plus years.
