Can't Send Email on Windows Live Mail!

I have had issues with cox email and using it via Windows Live Mail ever sine the "security update" and I am on my last straw to just leave cox already!!!  I have changed my password, updated my settings and changed ports and as of right now I can receive email, but can not send using Windows Live Mail - I am very frustrated that I have to go cox webmail to send any emails - this is time consuming and now I am not saving important emails in my Live Mail software which is the reason that I use it in the first place.  I need to know how to permanently solve this problem and be able to send emails via Windows Live Mail!!!!  

Please help!!!!

    I can certainly understand your frustration with this ongoing issue. Are you getting any error messages when trying to send emails?
