3.0 to 3.1 , its not working well COX

I just updated my modem to 3.1 and the line keep dropping all the time ... upgraded to Gigabit and its not even close to getting over 200MB down ..

I'm shocked you can market a product and deliver something that is not even close. I plan to downgrade... anyone buying a new modem, don't waste your money,

Cox can't  deliver what they are promising. Very disappointing .

    Hi @Mikeblake,

I know how frustrating it is to get slow speeds. Are you doing the speed test while on wifi or a hardwired connection? And if you are doing it on Wifi, are you on the 5GHz band while doing your speed test?

I agree with Mike, same numbers, just one PC connected to ethernet, Cox is more like Con. I understand there are a lot more users working from home however if you can't provide the service you should not advertise it!

It was not provided, I purchased a brand new MB8600 .... nothing wrong with equipment, just Cox who to some extent admit their network is stretched due to the high volume of online users however that does not help those of us who've used their network for years, paid higher costs for GB, and now suffer constant disconnects, slower speeds (80% slower). Sadly it seems Cox does not care.
