really, my 3 year old galaxy 8+ is running 9.0 after update from the original 8.0!!
fwiw:6.0 killed wi-fi on many galaxy s5's.
Galaxy J7 Sky Pro...probably too downscale to advance the OS? who knows....device works beautifully, never had a problem with it....could use more app memory, but thats just me talking myself into an expensive upgrade of a perfectly good device!

I guess Cox never mastered scalability, huh?
Why not use your browser to makes changes to your WiFi instead?

some playstore apps don't/won't work with old os's, why should cox??

Is 3 years considered "old?" Perhaps when companies release a new phone or OS, app stores discontinue "older" apps to force a new purchase.
Besides, there are other ways to manage a router than an app.

yes, has been that way for years!
apples oranges....op has a phone issue, not a router issue!!
