Internet has been very laggy and slow
Everytime I do my business, trading in financial markets or sometimes play, i’ve been experiencing a slow and laggy connection, considering paying a large amount worth of $206, it gone up more after my router/ modem was updated and i thought it will fix the problem but it doesn’t. Your company doesn’t seem to live up with your claims which is “internet connection is reliable, high-speed, low latency, and robust network infrastructure to support various activities like streaming, gaming, and working from home”. It doesn’t feels like it. Here’s my problems: Every time I open multiple tabs on either of my laptop or pc for my business the connections seems to slow down and keeps it from buffering too much. I do trading and sometimes when I open the charts be it in my laptop, pc or phone it takes a while for the charts to load or I can’t see what’s in my chart, like the “candles” on my chart for example. Sometimes when i hang out with my friends to play it’s the worst ever the game just keeps on lagging and lagging, always on a red ping. When there are 3 or more people connected on the internet it feels like the internet just become slower than or around 50mbps. Just want to point this out for you guys to fix it. I’m paying too much for a worst experience with your internet connection, $206 is an absurd amount of money to be wasted by a slow and crappy internet. You guys need to fix this as soon as possible before I pay that amount.13Views0likes1CommentGlitchy internet

Cox, it’s 2025, and I’m here to ask: where is the IPv6 support for your Gigablast Fiber service? You’ve been promising IPv6 support for years. Your own moderator, Lisa, posted on the forums five years ago: "Cox has established an IPv6 Migration Program to make sure that all Cox networks, systems, and products have IPv6 compatibility so that when the IPv4 addresses are exhausted, we will continue our business operations without interruption. We are in the process of developing the IPv6 migration plan for all of products and services." That was half a decade ago. And yet, IPv6 support for Gigablast Fiber remains non-existent. This lack of progress is unacceptable, especially for a service marketed as a top-tier fiber solution. Many users have been patiently waiting, discussing the need for IPv6 support, and repeatedly questioning its timeline: IPv6 Prefix Delegation on ONT When Will IPv6 Work with Fiber to the Home Under Gigablast? Gigablast - IPv6 ETA We’ve reached a point where IPv4 is no longer sustainable, and IPv6 adoption is essential for modern internet functionality. Major ISPs worldwide have implemented IPv6, yet Cox seems stuck in neutral. Why is Cox Gigablast Fiber—your premium service—still without IPv6 support? What is the timeline for implementation? Your customers deserve transparency and action, especially for your fiber customers, who are among your most advanced and discerning users. It’s time to deliver on your promises, Cox. Let’s hear an update.nsaconsultant2 days agoNew Contributor64Views0likes7CommentsRetain Email Address?
We are contemplating a move to an area that is serviced by another provider NOT Cox. Since our email addresses have been moved to yahoo email servers am I able to keep my cox email address if my new provider is Spectrum? I've had these addresses for over 15 years and it would be a pain to change all my contacts/accounts over to a new address.John__Enfield2 days agoNew Contributor30Views0likes2CommentsProblem with Amazon Prime login
Recently switched to Cox Contour from another provide. Since the switch I have been unable to sign in to my Amazon Prime Video service. The tutorial video Cox provides doesn’t remotely correspond to what I see when I select The Prime App, it simply tries to sell you a service you are already paying for. Tried chatting with one of the tech support people, who kept trying to tell me that the problem was due to a local outage that only seems to affect Amazon Prime. Desperate for an actual solution!Lynnn19503 days agoNew Contributor12Views0likes1Comment
