Panoramic Wifi App Not Working
We recently moved from another town and had our Cox service transferred. We moved to a brand new house, which meant we had to have Cox come out and do the install. The only thing that changed is we are on fiber optic now that goes into a nokia box then a Cat 5 cable to the wifi router. The old house had the old coax cable that pugged in to the same wifi router. The Panoramic app worked at our old house, but since we moved to the new house, it hasn't worked at all. I have reached out to Cox multiple times and it still does not work. We have deleted and re-installed the app. We have changed our password. We have done a factory reset on our modem. We have followed other suggestions in this community forum and still nothing. It does not recognize our devices on the manage wifi. I would like the features to be restored as we have kids in the house and it was a tremendous help at our last place. What in the "H. E. double toothpicks" is going one with COX Cable every Satureday during college football games, I pixalizes every Saturday when they play different games on 80, 81, and 82. Any other time of the week it is perfectly fine when they have the same shows on 80, 81, and 82. It really pisses me off when I've been on Cox cable for close to 30 years and use their phone, cable, and internet conection that we pay $370 a month for this crap. It also seems that every time we want to watch a movie the same pixalizing happens. All TV's in the house it happens to. Two TV's have the nice converter boxex and 3 have the small basic boxes, and they happen to every box when wathing Big 10 football. My nieghbors are having the same exact problem. It seem to me that Cox does not have enough band wilth to handle 3 different games running at the same time on 80, 81, and 82. ut if they have the same thing running on 80, 81, and 82 everything seems to be fine. Is anyone having the same problem? Thanks. Can't delete emails...am at max/2gb....one cox Customer service rep hung up on me...second call said that Cox is aware of the "can not delete" problem and is working issue (at least he knew there was a problem) ..no ETA nor did they know when the problem started...WTF...need my wife to migrate to gmail like I have so I can save couple hundred per $/month for crappy service and move to verizon for intenet and utube for TV.2Views0likes0CommentsCox Email Problems
Anyone else having serious problems using Cox email today? I am trying to send emails but when I go to start a new email it takes a minute until it loads and by that time the server time is out. No internet or phone
I have not had internet or phone access for 17 days network impairment with no time frame for it to be up and usable as much money as I pay and as large this company is not to mention the monopoly they have in Scottsdale how in the name of God would this take more then 24 hours 17 days no internet and they just sent me a 160 dollar bill18Views0likes1CommentPanoramic app can’t access any settings including port forwarding
I tap View Network Details/Advanced Settings/Port forwarding and I receive message “Something Unexpected Happened”. History: I recently changed my service and was required to use the Panoramic modem. The app didn’t work from day one. Changing the WiFi name and PW seemed to work, but I would get an error logging in. Support was able to change the 5GHz PW, but not the 2.4GHz. Support then opened a ticket. I decided to login directly using IP address and that worked! I also changed the IP address to 192.168.1.1 and assigned some static addresses to devices. I now need to add 1 port forwarding entry and I’m getting the above error in the app and you’re not allowed to changed port forwarding when logged in directly. Even the EDIT button for WiFi disappeared. Support opened another ticket and said they usually respond fast. After about a week I called again and support escalated the ticket. Another several days and nothing. A Factory Reset didn’t change anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. It's ALIVE! Awaiting some new questions so I can hopefully help someone! FYI, I worked for Cox for 16 years, MOST of that in advanced Data support Tier 2. I enjoyed what I did. Prior to Cox, I worked for Dell as an L2 Software support agent, and developed the Lane Training using Virtual systems to recreate common problems, Head of Field Engineering for a Data processor, over 5000 pieces of hardware in the field, analog and digital communications, channelized T1, (Newbridge Mainstreet), Multiplexors and more. I love data communications and computers! BTW, New (used) Alienware coming in soon, I9 4070, 64 gigs memory, 2/2tb nvme. It's gonna be fun! With the new version of Cox webmail, when I delete an email or multiple emails and hit the trash icon the emails get hi-lighted but the inbox is not refreshed and the emails stay on the screen. I have to refresh or go to another folder and back to the inbox before they are deleted from the screen. This happens on Chrome and Safari as well as on MacBook and iPad. Until recently (about 2 months ago) I could use my Android mail app to access my Cox email. Now I cannot receive email from ANY mobile app - on my Android Samsung S9, Outlook on my PC, or my iPad email app. My wife and I have spent around six hours with about five Cox customer representatives until they give up and refer us to Samsung. They - Samsung- rudely refer us back to Cox (after another hour). The error messages we get vary, from password invalid (we have changed the password several times under Cox supervision) to Change the permission settings on the Cox internet webmail site. (There aren't any). We can receive and send email from the Cox webmail URL site. This is an important email address and we really need it to work. I was going to do a factory reset on the phone, thinking that some other app is interfering, but since it won't work from any device app, I thought it best to see if anyone else has this issue before I spend another half day with this drill?2KViews0likes3Comments
