Contour 2 for iPhone, iPad crashes
I recently got Contour in my home, loaded the app on my iPhone 6s (ios 10.2.1) and my iPad Air (ios 10.2.1). When I try to log in, I get an HTTP error on the both devices (HTTP Status 500 server encountered an internal error) from idm.east.cox.net. Same problem has been going on for 2-3 weeks. I have reset both devices several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both devices several times with no success. I was just told by a support chat person that the Contour 2 App is down for "almost everyone" due to a "maintenance issue". True? Or if not, what is going on? I have recently recieved service for cox and they offered basic cable at a minimal price so I accepted but in order to keep cost low I opted to go app only option. I believe from what I'm seeing it's impossible to watch this live tv on a smart cast tv because the apps do not download onto the actual tv, instead they download on to a device and you have to cast them to the tv. I upgraded my television service to include NickJr for my children. However, even after the upgrade, when I log into the NickJr app using my Cox credentials, the app notifies me that NickJr is not part of my television subscription service. I get the same result when accessing content directly through nickjr.com using several different computers and browsers. I have the same issue when accessing IFC (www.ifc.com) content and Movieplex (movieplex.com) content in a browser. Both of these websites claim the content isn't part of my subscription although I've confirmed that it should be. I have successfully used my Cox credentials to access content on the computer from over a dozen other channels that are part of the Cox TV Everywhere program. I have 2 drives with my Macbook Pro. My photos, documents, and music are kept on the external drive. In the setup of Cloud Drive for Mac to select the folders for backup, the app does not even detect my User folder on the external drive. See the screen shot below, which shows the location of the folder in my Finder and what shows up in the Cloud Drive settings panel: What is going on with this? About three weeks ago I began to have trouble sending email using my Android app on my Samsung tablet. It had been working perfectly for over 1.5 years and nothing has changed. I did a chat session with Cox Tech help and they told me the problem might be resolved in five or six hours. It had been going on for 3 days at that point and issue is still not resolved. Anyone else seeing the problem or have any suggestions to solve? I have found that by changing the TLS settings, saving, exiting the app going back into the app and editing the email still in the Outbox, that about half the time it will be sent. Hi, will there be an app developed for Windows Phone 10devices in the near future? I'm assume so, since Microsoft have an universal app development framework now... Cox can develop one code base that can work across all windows 10devices. If Cox management, chief software engineer, and lead software architects haven't made a decision to go on this; maybe the business need to hire replacements.. I am unable to use the Watch TNT app on my phone. Specifically, I am unable to log in. I have verified that my userid and password allow me to login at the cox site. I only have one id. I did notice that when I click the sign in button in the Watch TNT app, the app automatically adds "@cox." To the end of my userid. I am assuming that it is trying to add "@cox.net" and I am simply not seeing the last few letters. However, I don't add those letters when I log into the cox website.4.8KViews0likes3Comments
