Issues with TCM not displaying in Northwest Arkansas
I am in Springdale. TCM regularly stops displaying with an error of "This channel is having an issue, please try later" No error number is shown. I have tried rebooting the cable box but it does not fix anything. SHowing the guide, then trying the channel does not do anything. All other channels are fine and work perfectly, only TCM is affected. We only have cable for my wife to watch TRCM so if you cannot even do that we have no use for Cox.482Views0likes1CommentClient box issue on Contour 2
I have a Client box on Contour 2 that appears to go on and off on one particular TV. When I turn in that TV the picture flashes on and off. I have to restart that box to fix issue. My other boxes do not seem to have this issue. Is this a sign of a defective box?1.8KViews0likes4CommentsPixelation Picture Freeze Since Mini Box Installed
Hi, I've got 4 new mini boxes installed and there seems to be a lot of pixelation and freeze ups of the picture now. The audio is glitchy too. Has anyone else experienced this? I've gone through all my connections (I found one loose...thought that was it but no...), tried moving the mini boxes around but have not been able to improve the performance at all. I also noticed that on 2 of the 4 boxes the guide shows no program data available. If I reboot them, the guide will come back, but it never lasts more than a day. Is there a way for the Cox Techs to see signal strength at each box since they are all network addressable? Seems like that must be the issue since I have 7 TV sets connected. I split the incoming cable into 2 home runs for first and second floor, then split those into 3 and 4 each. The last time the Tech was out, he installed an amp at the street side splitter where it first enters the house. I never had this issue before the mini boxes. Any help or information is appreciated! Are we the only family that seems to have problems chiefly on the weekends with our picture breaking up and having lines through it? We live in Topeka, Kansas, and tonight every channel we turn to has this. We can't watch anything without the annoying breakups! It seems to happen primarily on weekends.3.5KViews0likes6CommentsGuide
Hello! I just now got Cox TV, and I have an HDTV. The picture is flawless on the HD Channels, and it is full screen, the way it should be. When I go into the TV Guide, it shrinks to a SD picture with bars to the right and left. I have done the aspect ratio and no fix. The regular programming is fine. It's the way it should be so no issue there. Is there a way to make the guide bigger??? Full screen???? Please help! It's hard to read it!!!!3.2KViews0likes1CommentMy TV Picture is distorted
