We know this can be frustrating, but we do appreciate your patience while our teams work to resolve this event. This is the message that keeps coming up when we sign in to our account. There have been a few outages in the last couple of weeks during off-hours and peak hours. The last time we spoke with a CSR, it was supposed to be fixed by March 21, 2023. And yet, this is still the message that is flagging with a RED marking on our account page: "Increased internet traffic - We've identified a network-impacting event affecting the consistent delivery of service to your home. We know this can be frustrating, but we do appreciate your patience while our teams work to resolve this event." When accessing the Cox "OUTAGE" page, the word "HOME" is substituted with "Your Area", so it's hard to know just what and where the problem may be... Anyone know what this means in PLAIN ENGLISH? LOL thanks Re: All my emil from ALL my Cox email accounts DISSAPEARED! If you have further info, or a link of how that’s possible, I’ll look it up. I do use iOS email client on an iPad. Amazingly, the ONLY Cox account that didn’t lose its inbox of mails was an account that ONLY is accessed from the iPad. That account isn’t entered on any of my other clients. But yeah, instructions as you describe about that Apple client would be great. Re: All my emil from ALL my Cox email accounts DISSAPEARED! Thanks Becky. I’ve checked everything I could possibly think of from my end. If I had accidentally deleted six accounts of emails between a specific date, previous events like that would find the emails in the ‘delete’ folder. Or possibly ‘junk’, but everything for all my Cox accounts save for one just went ‘poof’. If there are backups of inboxes, that’s what I’m hoping for. I use four mail apps: Windows 10 Mail, Apple’s iOS email client, Android Mail and Thunderbird on Windows. Re: All my emil from ALL my Cox email accounts DISSAPEARED! Nope, very new actually. All accounts IMAP. This appears to be a Cox server failure of epic magnitude. Six email accounts. All my emil from ALL my Cox email accounts DISSAPEARED! This morning at 8:50am PST, every email from every INBOX all six of my Cox email accounts dissapeared this morning. Every email between February 2, 2023, and today at 11am is apparently missing, gone, deleted? Opened a ticket with Cox. No one has returned my call. Anyone else suffer this fault today, or recently? That’s a lot of important emails that I now have no access to. Wow. Re: Outage Where? Re: Outage Where? Internet outage and prime time speed Orange County, CA. Internet and cable gone at 4pm. No idea why. Partially back at 8:30pm, but our 150gb download rates are currently 6gb. Took a picture with Ookla Speedtest site. Sadly, it's like this in primetime four or five nights out of seven. My neighbor just switched to TMobile internet, 50gb down, $30 month, free Netflix and 50% off YouTube TV. Cox, you're on the verge of losing us too. Get it together... Can’t send or replay to emails while out of the USA - Cox, this is you’re technical fault. How is it fixed? Hi. Every other email client I use has no problem receiving, replying or sending email when I am out of the USA, going through foreign servers. Why is Cox restricting access to Pop/SMTP to it's customers when they travel? How do I fix this, ASAP! Lots of important emails to respond to. And please don’t suggest logging in to Cox Webmail with a browser, as you’ve somehow turned on PERMANENT TWO-STEP VERIFICATION, which I can’t verify because you use my landline at home as the code-delivery method. Guess what - I’m not at home. What is the fix!!!? Re: Keep losing internet connection, Where are you located, generally? We have been having exactly the same problem for several days - in the SoCal area.
