My tuning adapter keeps rebooting interrupting the tv show. Tonight, it rebooted 3 times within 30 minutes. I have swapped it out at the Cox store once already so it isn't hardware. At this point, this experience is untenable. I read another thread about some firmware update or another box, but that thread ended without further confirmation. Is there any solution for this or is it just time to cut the cable service?
It is true that Cox is introducing a new Tuning Adapter that does not constantly reboot causing loss of programming. Depending on where you are, it will most likely be rolled out in the coming months.
Thanks. is there anything specific that I can reference when I call in? The cable card support has dwindled as expected but it's at the point that watching TV is more frustrating than entertaining.
