Error code RDK-03033 multiple times per week

SUPER frustrated with Cox right now.  We get the RDK-03033 error code multiple times per week (and oftentimes multiple times per DAY). We check all the cables (they're tight) and then have to restart the cable box which must be done manually because the Restart button on the screen never does anything. If this happened occasionally it wouldn't be a big deal but several times every week is ridiculous. 

I've read all the forum posts and haven't found a solution that fixes the problem.  Anyone find a workaround that actually works?
