Error code RDK-03033 multiple times per week
SUPER frustrated with Cox right now. We get the RDK-03033 error code multiple times per week (and oftentimes multiple times per DAY). We check all the cables (they're tight) and then have to restart the cable box which must be done manually because the Restart button on the screen never does anything. If this happened occasionally it wouldn't be a big deal but several times every week is ridiculous. I've read all the forum posts and haven't found a solution that fixes the problem. We have been experiencingoccasional Contour box freeze-ups requiring a reboot since we received our box but recently, the problems have increased exponentially. Over the past few days, the freezups have been accompanied by the inability to control anything withany remote control (including a Logitech Harmony). This problem is often accompanied byan on-screen message "Unable to connect..." followed by RDK-03033. A web search for that phrase points to either poor signal strength strength on the return signal between the Contour box and the head end or interference from another nearby Contour box, which can apparently resolved by the installation of a "MoCA filter".
