Contour Stream Player recording playback issues

I want my old dvr back. This new stream player that stores in the cloud has terrible playback issues.  All recordings just stop intermittently and I have to exit and re-enter the dvr recordings to resume. It happens about 6-8 times on an hour long program.   The tech support agent I spoke to just kept wanting to re-boot and did not understand what I was explaining to her. Although she said she has not heard of this issue, I see that many are having the same problem.  Maybe the Cox servers cant handle this technology. I do not want to pay for a piece of faulty equipment any longer.  Give me my old DVR back, it worked fine.

    I am truly sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your DVR programming going out on you multiple times when trying to watch a pre-recorded show. I can imagine how frustrating that would be. This is not a common issue, but could be caused by the signal strength to the DVR. When you have an opportunity, I would recommend checking the connections to ensure they are secured, the cables are undamaged, and bypass any splitters. If you are using an amplifier in the home, I would make sure that it is secured as well and that the light is showing green on the power supply.
