I have a Cisco tuning adaptor with tivo and cable card. For the past month I have experienced pixelating problems on multiple channels. Cox tech has been out 3 times and I’ve replaced the tuning adaptor. Today CNN started pixelating again. I disconnected the tuning adaptor and it cleared up. I can’t get the switched video channels without adaptor but I can actually watch tv without the digitization. Any idea? Is it just a bad adaptor?
Does anyone have a list of the switched video channels I’m missing if I bypass the adaptor?
I don't have one, and I think Cox no longer notes which are SDV in their channel lineup. I tried searching google and couldn't find anything. What market/area do you live in?
Strike that. One line in- attached to 3 way splitter. 2 for living room tivo and adaptor and one that goes thru wall to bedroom for modem and router.
I have no connected the cable from the wall directly to the tuning adapter. It is doing the same thing! I am so frustrated. I even had cox install a separate cable outlet in my bedroom to connect the cable modem for the phone and router. Cox support asked me to exchange the tuning adapter from living room that was having issues with the bedroom one that was not having issues. Now I have issues in living room and bedroom. Bedroom adaptor not working at all now, V52 or V58 errors.
I am not sure what else will be accomplished. I have had 4 tech appointments and still have the tiling issue.
