Contour HD picture quality

Hello, using the Contour remote, you are welcome to change the Video Output Resolution under Device Settings. In doing so, this adjusts the aspect ratio on your television:

Below are the different format resolution options. Not all formats are available on all TVs.

1080p Wide - for 1080p HDTV monitor with widescreen 16:9 oblong shape
1080i Wide - for 1080i HDTV monitor with widescreen 16:9 oblong shape
720p Wide - for a 720p HDTV monitor with widescreen 16:9 oblong shape
480p Wide - for a 480p TV monitor with widescreen 16:9 oblong shape
480p Std - for a 480p standard TV monitor with standard 4:3 square shape
480i Std - for a 480i standard TV monitor with standard 4:3 square shape
