landline service with Cox.

Need to switch landline service to Cox. My modem has only one port (ethernet) Do I use a port on the router to plug in the landline phone?

We would provide a modem if your switching phone service they come phone ports, can also be used for the internet. I'm providing this link look for the ones that say this device is Cox Voice compatible. https://bit.ly/39q0mJy.

since cox doesn't allow customer owned phone modems why list them?

        Cox isn't listing phone modems.

        Cox is listing cable modems.

Cox offers WiFi on some of their cable modems..

Cox offers an eMTA on some of their cable modems.

        That's why they list 'em.
