Please help. My Nomorobo is set up and verified by Nomorobo. Everything is in order. They have called to day it is enabled. But it is NOT working. Cox refuses all responsibility/. I have to contact Nomorobo. I have done that 3 times. They say they will get back to me. They havent. Everything is done correctly and that is verified by both Cox and Nomorobo. I am getting all my calls....10 just today. I am at my wit’s end. Please help.
Did you upgrade your telephone modem to an eMTA with Cox?
If so, can you check the incoming calls on your Cox Call History? Are the calls...at least two...listed continuously...one after another...but separated by a few seconds? If the Call History isn't formatted for seconds, the duplicate entries would be within the same minute.
Yes, my phone was upgraded by Cox last summer. The calls are listed the same as they are on my phone....same name, time, etc. all calls are listed, not just ones that would be blocked. I noticed that only calls for yesterday were listed, not the ones for the previous two days that Noma was installed. There is a little box before each caller. The box is empty...no x or anything....should it have something to indicate that it was blocked or for some other purpose? I did the test call again and it confirmed that Nomorobo is enabled
What I meant was, for example, if (123) 456-7890 called at 10:56 AM, is there another entry from the same number...(123) 456-7890...below it in your Call Log with the same time (10:56 AM). If your Call Log is formatted for seconds, the duplicate entries might be separated by a few seconds.
No, there are no duplicate entries at all for yesterday. They are listed in the same order and time as the call log on my phone (landline). When I mentioned duplicate calls above, I was referring to those salesmen who call every single day, but not more than once each day.
A robe call just came in. It was not blocked. It is shown on the Romo report page. There is a little icon before each number listed....last night it was an empty square....but I don’t know what it means. I have reported 4 calls as not being blocked on the Nomorobo report page.
