I upgraded to Ultimate.  Now my speed is slower than it was on the previous tier.  Why?  Don't tell me I need to spend more.  I don't have it.

  • Hello, are you experiencing slow speeds on a wireless connection or hard-wired (Ethernet) connection? Would you be able to hard-wire a PC or laptop directly to the modem and perform a speed test for us, using the Cox Internet Speed Test tool?

    If you normally use WiFi on a consistent basis, we do suggest setting the channel state to automatic. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator
