Netgear CM1000 Critical errors in logs and constant reboots.

I bought two CM1000 modems due to cox support telling me the first one was defective. The issue I had was the modem would only stay connected for 30 seconds, then reboot. Unfortunately support refused to help me beyond telling me to buy a new one as its probably defective, and if that wasn't it, to call Netgear. which I highly doubt they have anything to do with it. My previous modem is a cm700 and it at least only has a few dropped packets here and there.

The log follows.

Mine started yesterday doing the same thing.  I am very curious if Anyone has an answer as I am not going to spend another 200 dollars on a modem.

Hi Chadb, your modem is not communicating any signal levels to us at the moment, which is quite concerning and could be an indication of a signal issue. Can you please unplug the modem, wait ten seconds and plug it back in? Please also ensure there are no loose or damaged connections either. I am not detecting any known issues or outages in your area at this time. Are you experiencing intermittent connectivity? -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator
