which channels have the 1080HD, they mostly in 720HD

I have a Samsung rear projection TV, DLP with 1920 x 1080 resolution  1080p full HD. I would like to get the most out of the 1080 instead I find that I am only using  720 resolution. Is this because cox  does 'nt  have all channels in 1080?
