watching tv outside without a cable box

I have a smart TV that is installed outside with wireless internet access but without a cable hook-up. How can I install and utilize the contour app so I can watch live TV

try settings with tv controller & select wi-fi, not ethernet/cable/etc.

    the router,

    my samsung tv had an update but wouldn't wouldn't update until i selected wi-fi with tv remote.

    this is just a suggestion, not sure if it'll work.

      OP's question wasn't about connectivity but about an app.

        understood, tv still has to be configured for wi-fi, as i mentioned earlier......op's never been back to reply.
