Streaming Lag

I have been having a streaming lag with the Cox cable stream. Only certain channles do it though like ABC and FOX. It lags and then rwinds back a few seconds. Especially when watching sports. I've tried to fix it but no luck. Anyone else have this issue?

    Is this on the wireless cable box?
