Replay of Video recording

After I record a station and then play it back. I use fast forward and when I see something I want to watch, I hit play and the video starts several seconds past what I wanted to watch. It used to go back a few seconds so I can watch what I wanted. Please change software like it used to be.

    Hi Buddy29, it sounds like you might enjoy the Contour 2 platform with voice remote. With Contour 2, you can press and hold the Voice button (microphone symbol) on the remote and say "fast forward three minutes."       That's not what I'm looking for. I want to fast forward until I see what I want to watch, hit the play button and see what I want to watch by going back a few seconds, not go forward several seconds.
