Becky, OP was asking about scheduling a recording when away from home(off Cox network). In that picture, to the right under details, it says "in-home". Does that mean you can only view it in-home or does that effect where you can schedule a recording too? Do you get a record option if the in-home tag isn't there? Were you at home when taking that screenshot? Do you have cloud DVR?
Hi, the app does allow you to schedule recording when not on your home network. however, you will not be able to watch the program when away from home if it is marked as in-home. The in-home Tag only indicates where the program can be viewed. it is not related to it being scheduled. To test this I turned off wifi on my phone so it was only connected to my cell network and scheduled the upgoing recording on my pheon. I do not have a Cloud DVR I have a standard DVR box. The program will be recorded but I can only watch it on a cable box when I'm at home. if I did have cloud DVR then I would be able to watch it on the cable box or on the app if it is connected to my home network.

Thank you. So that confirms how it "should" work. The question now is what is different/broken for OP. I didn't mean to insinuate that you DID need cloud DVR, I was just asking if someone could confirm if you did or not.
To 202685t Can you try scheduling a recording of the show Becky or Greg showed in their screenshots to see if the problem is the channel/show you are trying to record? If it doesn't work, can you show a screenshot of what you see when you go there? It is important when troubleshooting that you are comparing apples to apples.
Also, you may want to remove the solution marker, as my question didn't end up leading to the solution and the question is ongoing.
