Stewart H, since rebooting the box does the same occur with new recordings?

Is this just a couple recordings that were recorded around the same time frame or is it a bunch that you know have worked previously without any issue? It sounds like there could be something going on with the box itself.

BrianM: There are about 15-20 recorded TV shows from many different dates & times and yes I have played them previously and saved them as well.........

Also....this box is a SD box connected to the TV with an HDMI cable in order to get the 1080 HD. It is about 11-12 yrs old...why do they install these???
- Becky7 years agoModeratorHi Stewart H, It sounds like there may be a bad sector on the DVR's hard drive. It’s possible that a recording error caused the stored DVR content to become corrupted. This would explain why you can record and watch new content, but why you can’t access previously recorded content. You might want to think about swapping out your 2-tuner Rovi DVR for a 2-tuner or 6-tuner Contour DVR. Becky K. Cox Support Forums Moderator
