Did the one channel continue to have no audio? If the issue occurred for only one channel, then it may have been technical difficulties at the network for that channel (not Cox).
Oddly enough even the DVR audio for nick jr is not working.
If a channel's signal has no audio, then a DVR recording of that channel during that time will have no audio.
