I know this is not the forum for the statement I'm going to make, but I love the fact that Cox has avoided carrying OANN for as long as they have. OANN is just a Trump propaganda outlet. The country definitely does not need that right now. There are other places to get your Trump fix (Fox, Newsmax).
If you don't want to watch OANN, why would you even care if Cox carries it? Nobody is forcing you to watch it. It's called "freedom of choice." I choose not to watch MSNBC, but I don't care if Cox carries it because I feel the people who want to watch MSNBC have the right to do so. Same with CNN. And why do you think that because someone wants to watch a particular network, that makes them a Trump supporter? Maybe they can't stand Trump but want to watch that particular network for other reasons. Calm down!
Why would I care? For starters, I don't want any part the fees I pay Cox every month to go to OANN. I understand what you're saying about freedom of choice, but can you point out to me anything on CNN and MSNBC that approaches "The election was rigged and Trump really won." It's not a matter of "I can't stand Trump". The man is dangerous and in my opinion the country does not need to hear any more of his pathological lies. For the same reasons that Facebook and Twitter have banned Trump, I'm grateful that Cox (at least for now) is not carrying one of his biggest propaganda venues. I don't want my Cox fees going to a venue that's brainwashing people into thinking our electoral process is broken just because Trump is a sore loser.
Lots of people have asked for OANN and so far Cox has just given it lip service. What do you think that means?
