Netflix and password sharing when using the Netflix app on a cable box?

If I am watching Netflix using my cable box netflix app how does that work with Netflix trying to stop password sharing?  When using the app in the cable box what IP address is Netflix going to r...

Your cable box either has a modem inside, or uses your modem on a different channel to have internet access. I wouldn't worry about it though, I use it on a firestick, my phone on cellular, and at my daughter's place on her wifi, without issue. That's 3 differing IP addresses.

From its diagnostics screen, it appears each tuner has a DOCSIS.  Wherever the requests are handed off to the Internet, Cox is metering it.
