LG OLED Smart TV will not connect to wired connection

Can you disable the wireless card via the settings on your LG?  The wired port probably has connectivity to your router but if the wireless also has connectivity, the LG defaults to wireless.  I'm not sure but perhaps there's a priority with 2 active ports or 1 active port may be disabling the other.
