HGTV On Demand Picture

When watching shows on HGTV On Demand, the picture is in SD and is letterboxed.  Shouldn’t the picture be in HD like all other channels are?  What might be causing this and can it be fixed?

    Hi Hiphubby123, how are you accessing HGTV On Demand content? Are you using the remote control voice search function? Are you navigating through the On Demand menu and choosing titles by show name or network name? Please provide specific steps and show titles. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

      Hi.  The show that we are seeing this on is “Love It Or List It”.  We access the series on demand by choosing “On Demand” from the Contour menus and we search under “recent TV”.  We then choose an episode from the list and choose to play it.  As far as we can tell, this is the only show we watch via On Demand where this resolution issue occurs.
