Free movies Cox on Demand - Far less offerings now! What gives?

Went to Cox On Demand to watch a free movie yesterday and the number of offerings dropped from 17,000 titles (just last week) to only 500 available to view now!  What gives?  We're paying over $200 a...

Yes, there are free movies On-demand.  When you go to On-demand, then tab over to movies and then scroll down to "Free movies".  Checked again today and it still only shows exactly 500 movies, as if they somehow limited the offerings to only 500 now.

Hi Chilly, under "Premium Networks" how many movies do you see on that list? I also see 500 movies listed On Demand under the free section as well. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

    Under "Premium Networks" shows 3448 listed.

      Hi Chilly, due to agreements with our content partners, some movies and televisions shows do come in and out of availability. I understand that limitations from our On Demand library can be frustrating at times. Broadcast rights govern the distribution of copyrighted content, so whoever owns each movie title can dictate to Cox its terms of availability. We truly appreciate the loyalty of our customers and work hard to negotiate with content owners so we can provide what our customers want at the best possible price. -Kevin M.         Are you telling me that over 16,500 movies dropped "out of availability" all at the same time and that now the available movies number exactly 500?  I find that hard to believe.  This seems like a coordinated and deliberate move on the part of Cox.
