Cox Gulf Coast - CNN Picture Quality

For a few weeks now, CNN picture is tearing, freezing, lagging. Tried a new Contour Box, which helped for about a week, and then returned to an un-watchable state. How do we fix this?

how old is the tv??

    It's not the TV. If we use the Cox MiniBox on the same TV, then we have no issues... this is ONLY related to the Contour Box.
