I have this exact same problem. I have paired the remote with the cable box and it did not help. I also have changed the settings with both with the power saver on and off. The issue remains the same.

I have done the same, appears contour 2 cable box goes to sleep and just doesn't wake up.

Shows no signal, nothing happens pressing any buttons.
i switched HDMI port to port 1 and switched HDMI cable, same issue.

- KevinM26 years agoFormer Moderator@Layter, do you also have a Samsung Q80 Smart TV? What HDMI input are you currently using? Which receiver is impacted, and is it a wired or wireless receiver? When did the issue start happening? -Kevin
