Channel view while using the guide - help

Have the new contour box.  Miss many features of the contour 1 box - such as its ability to view whats on the current channel while using the guide. Have gone thru the settings, but not yet found tha...

Are you referring to a small square in the corner of the screen? The new Contour system does not have that option. You can however adjust the background darkness so that you can see the channel behind the guide a bit. This can be adjusted by hitting the contour button, go to the settings icon (click ok) then go to Preferences> General > Background Darkness Level and set to 1 for the lowest setting.

Wow, i cant believe cox calls the contour 2 box  an upgrade.  I SO miss my old box!!!!!!!!!

    Oh and the suggeston to set the background to 1 did not really help. Tried it, dont like it.
