Interesting. This may be getting a bit over my head but I think I know what's going on with my setup. After miserabe failure of Cox pods to strengthen my wifi signal, I bought Google Nest wifi. After initial setup, I had two separate wifi networks; one from Pano and the other from Google router. I then enabled the bridge mode for the Pano Admin console to avoid having two different wifi networks. Now my only wifif network was controlled by Google Home. It think this may be my issue as Cox is now considering all data as streaming/data usage as oppose to excluding Contour 2 data from the cap. This may explain why my usage has gone up in the last 2 weeks (which is when I installed Google wifi) .
Since you've got all the equipment...how 'bouts a controlled test!

Sure! Give me test scenario(s) to run and I'd be happy to do some. I did confirm yesterday that my overall usage including Contour 2 was the same for Google and Cox Data tracker. This tells me that Cox is counting my regular TV usage towards my cap. I use Contour 2 only for regular cable TV and use Apple TV for all other streaming. I unplugged Contour 2 yesterday and noticed this morning that my dat usage is considerably less (about 40GB vs 75GB) as compared to past few days, according to Cox Data Tracker.
I disabled the bridge mode late yesterday. Will use regular Cable TV normally today and check if the data usage spikes up again.

Your confirmation is what I was wondering. If you did a month's worth of regular TV viewing through the Panoramic vs....hmm? It just donned on me. Do you have another modem besides the Panoramic? I'll need to re-read this post.

I have had the Pano for a year now and have never come close to the 85% data usage (with 10 days left in the cycle). Remember, until a few months ago, the cap was 1 TB, so even then my usage never hit this range. No, I don't have another cable modem but I am seriously considering swapping the Pano with a regular modem (not a combo modem/wiff router) and getting a regular cable box. I will just run a long co-ax cable across the room.
