WIFI doesn't recognize scanner function of all-in-one printer

Why doesn't my computer recognize the scanner function of my all-in-one wireless printer? I can only print to it, not scan. It seems that the wifi does not recognize the additional function. Is there anything I can do?

It's not a function to access a scanner over a network...but to access the folder of your scanned documents.

You have to create a shared folder on your network and map the scanner to that folder.  How to do this should be in your documentation.

Of course, this wouldn't be true if your all-in-one contains built-in storage (HDD, SSD, USB, eMMC, etc).  If that's the case, you'd share the printer's drive and map your computer(s) to that drive.

If you have the IP of your printer, you should be able to configure via a browser.
