I've emailed COX twice now since this started and have received no responses. The first email included all of my personal information. WiderMouthOpen seems to be the only person that has even remotely provided solutions. Clearly my account is screwed up. It's bad enough I was forced to this CGM4141 (with a $200 charge to install it), but I'm still in the same boat. Constant packet loss is getting to be the norm.
I also don't understand why I have two modems, but I was told I needed the CGM for the Contour. Yes there are splitters, but I don't have access to them. I know the drop has been checked more than once and always comes back as being within specs. I'm tired of this packet loss though as I can't do much of anything and I swear it's getting worse. The ARRIS needs replaced I believe, but as you stated (Wider) my upstream is low.
I'd love for someone to help me rather than ignore all of my emails. I will send another email.
