What is HNEA.
What is HNEA and should I have this enabled on my router…1st time ive seen this. And why don’t we have WPA3? Hasn’t that security level been out for while now?
It's weird how a Forum search couldn't find this 5-year-old post about "HNEA." Two OPs but both questions are also worded the same.
Anybody got the Panoramic? Is there a Systems Basic Setup page? If so, is there an HNEA checkbox at the bottom?

There shouldn't be an HNEA checkbox, It's a microsoft thing specific to their Internet Information Services for Windows, though it's still free from Microsoft and it will run on Windows 10.

I agree. This utility would not be on a router...but it's what HNEA meant back in the day...unless Cox or the manufacturer adopted "the abbreviation."
I also didn't write this feature is on the Pano. Mouth wanted a definition and the only official definition is HelpNow! EasyAccess.
It's odd these initials have been around for at least 5 years but nobody knows what it means. Home Network Event Alerts?
